French Toast Sticks with a Crunch Coat

Brunchy, crunchy, and totally irresistible... these are worth waking up for! 

Easy to make, hard to stop eating. 🍯🍞 These French toast sticks are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and crusted with our Gluten Free Honey Nut Granola for the perfect morning crunch. Want to make ‘em? Here’s how!

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices bread (cut into sticks)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (plus more for serving!)
  • 1–1.5 cups Grandy Organics Gluten Free Honey Nut Granola (lightly crushed)

 

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup.
  2. Lightly crush the granola and spread it out on a plate.
  3. Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, then roll in crushed granola to coat.
  4. Heat a little butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook sticks until golden on all sides.
  5. Serve warm with maple syrup or yogurt for dunking!
